VISIT STUMP PASS STATE BEACH
Stump Pass Beach State Park is a beautiful, less crowded beach on the southern tip of Manasota Key.

Stump Pass Beach is more than just a beach. You have access to the intercoastal and the beach. Stump Pass Beach has a 1.3 mile trail from the parking lot to the tip (Which is actually the pass from the intercoastal to the gulf...Stump Pass).
​
You can go for a swim, get a tan, go kayaking, paddle boarding, shelling, fishing and more.

PARKING AT STUMP PASS STATE BEACH
Parking is very limited at Stump Pass State Beach. There are about fifty (50) parking spaces available.
Parking costs $3.00 per vehicle (up to 8 persons) or if you arrive by bike or by walking it is $2.00 per person.

You can pay by getting the envelope at the pay center, putting you fee in the envelope, tear off the stub and place on your dashboard and then place the envelope in the pay station slot. Or its free if you have an annual state park pass.

Pets are not allowed on the beach but are allowed on the trail, as long as they are leashed.

LESS CROWDS - MORE NATURE AT STUMP PASS STATE PARK
Unlike Englewood Beach and Manasota key Beach, Stump Pass Beach offers a more secluded feel. The beach can still get busy, even with the limited parking spaces because many people walk, bike or get dropped off.

There is a restroom available as well as a few picnic tables. But, other than that, you are kind of off the grid.
​
Many people like to use Stump Pass State Park for the access to the calm and clear intercoastal waters for paddle boarding and kayaking.
​
You are a far walk to any restaurants so pack a lunch and bring refreshments.
