VISIT MANASOTA BEACH

Manasota Beach is the first beach you get to on Manasota Key when coming from the "north" side of Englewood, using Manasota Beach Road.

It is quieter than Englewood Beach, but it still can get pretty busy. Its a mixed crowd, but more leaning toward the "silver" side.

At Manasota Beach you can enjoy the water, get a tan, search for shark teeth, find some shells, and have a good time.

Since it is a Sarasota County Beach, its FREE to park at Manasota Beach. The unpaved parking lot is quite large, so there should be spots available.

There is a loading area you can use next to the restrooms and closer to the beach. This is also for handicap parking too.

There is a boat ramp on the other side of the street, but parking there is limited to vehicles with boat trailers only.

There are a few covered picnic areas with tables and grills. There is also a large covered pavilion that you can use or rent/reserve.

There is a few trails along the side of the beach and another trail across the street that goes over a lagoon.

Manasota Beach goes on the mile in either direction, and you are allowed to walk in the "wet sand" areas where its not private property.
